The True Meaning of Yoga

The word 'Yoga' comes from the word 'Yuj' which literally means Union. The actual meaning of Yoga is the Union of a human being with the Divine. Yoga is all about being ever-connected with the Divine just like a good SIM card is always connected with the satellite. How does one become a true Yogi and stays ever-connected with the Supreme Immortal Power? It starts with a quest of realizing the truth of who we truly are and why we are here. Once we achieve this state of self-realization transcending the body, mind and ego, we attain the state of Consciousness or Yoga, the Divine Union. To achieve this state, one has to realize the truth and be liberated from the prison of the body-mind complex. Then one can be enlightened and become a true Yogi, always connected with the Divine through the Yoga of Meditation, Education, Action, Devotion or the Yoga of Divine Love.
