Entre em um mundo infinito de histórias
TINA GOES TO POMPEII. In this second book of the Tina & her magic Kettle series, Tina starts her first time-travel to the glorious past. To ancient Rome.
This is the first time she experiences the use of the portal created from the steam of the magic kettle. The portal also gives her the capacity to speak and understand the language of ancient Rome. There she makes new friends, eats food that was made centuries back, dresses up like them, walks around the city to local shops, temples, and local theatres with her new friends. Tina discovers the Roman way of life 2000 years back and stumbles upon a gripping adventure.
But little did she know, till the very end, that she was in POMPEII.
Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under millions of tons of volcanic ash and pumice stone after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The eruption lasted for two days. The first phase was of pumice rain (lapilli) lasting about 18 hours. At some time in the night or early the next day, a fast-moving current of hot gas and volcanic matter began near the volcano, altering the landscape, forever.
By the evening of the second day, the eruption was over, leaving only haze in the atmosphere and a large ruin. Pompeii today is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region, near the coast of the Bay of Naples.
Tina visits this glorious city on the day when the catastrophe had struck and gets caught up in the midst of this natural disaster.
But will Tina manage to get out from there? Will her kettle create the exit portal on time for her to survive? An adventure like never before, in 'TINA GOES TO POMPEII'.
