#1 We all want to live a disease-free life, but most of us have no idea that a disease-free life is possible. We assume that the patient is well until his or her condition deteriorates into symptoms that the doctor recognizes as a diagnosable disease.

#2 I was given an intradermal test, which is a much more provocative and sensitive test than the typical scratch tests. The reaction was catastrophic, and my health deteriorated rapidly. I was unable to perform any meaningful activity, and my life was over.
