From late 1978 to late 1979, central Ohio was rocked by 10 murders that defied explanation - men and women shot dead randomly in their homes and doing everyday things. But a mistake with a credit card finally identified the killers as a pair of Columbus brothers, Gary and Thaddeus Lewingdon. Because all their victims were shot in the head with the same gun, they came to be called the .22 Caliber Killers.
