 In the famous short story “The Most Dangerous Game” General Zaroff hunted shipwrecked sailors. The Zodiac killer used lover’s lanes in Vallejo, a lakeside park and the streets of San Francisco to shoot young couples. In the 70’s and 80’s someone was hunting the young women of Anchorage, Alaska. This week we explore the story of Alaska’s most cold blooded killer - Robert Hansen the Butcher Baker.

Longtime listeners of one of the world’s most popular and longest running radio shows have always been very creeped out by a call that came into the Howard Stern show more than 20 years ago. People have been fascinated by this call and it’s still talked about today. Back in 1997 a man calling himself “Clay” called the Howard Stern show saying he has killed 12 women and he wants to kill more. Renewed interest in this call really started popping up this last summer and here at the Garage we started receiving emails from those of you that wanted to hear the “Clay” call again. This week we crack a couple of Christmas beers and analyze the “Serial Killer Phone Call.” Merry Christmas to all and Cheers from the Garage boys!

Parkersburg, West Virginia - On the evening of December 3, 2022 twenty seven year old Gretchen Fleming went to a popular downtown bar for a night of fun. She has not been seen since. Parkersburg Police and her family have been desperately seeking answers and help trying to locate Gretchen. Now, after the passage of time they all fear the very worst. Police worked diligently and swiftly with their investigation. Evidence brought them to question the actions, movements, and motivations of one man in particular. Police believe that late that night Gretchen’s path crossed with his and law enforcement wants to know what he knows. Parkersburg Police is seeking help from the general public as well.
