What happens when a secret society demands your fortune—or sacrifices innocent lives instead? An electrifying tale of power, greed, and morality. The Minions of Midas by Jack London. That’s next on The Lost Sci-Fi Podcast.
It’s been nearly two weeks since we narrated A Thousand Deaths by Jack London, and since then, we’ve received numerous requests for more stories from one of America’s most renowned authors. We appreciate your emails and encourage you to tell us what you what to hear on the podcast, scott@lostscifi.com.
Jack London was an interesting character. He ran for Mayor of Oakland, California twice in 1901 and 1905 as the Socialist candidate and lost both both times garnering less than a thousand votes in those elections.

Next on The Lost Sci-Fi Podcast, Though the world may die, Man will go on. Transience by Arthur C. Clarke.
