This Is How We Know: 1 John

One of the great realities of scripture is that the most common verses hold the greatest mysteries until the Holy Spirit opens our eyes. So it is with John 3:16—“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
