The nude bike ride event on the summer solstice, brazenly and colorfully celebrating enlightenment and fertility, brings divergent sport stars together.

They grapple with their intense emotional and physical chemistry and challenge each others' attractions, attitudes, and choices.

Giovanni, a straight wrestling champion, is reeling from an unexpected defeat and brutal disgrace and humiliation in the media. Pablo, a gay goalkeeper on the university's soccer team, can share shrewd insights and profoundly help Giovanni, but he has challenges of his own and resists intimacy.
