The Awakening

In The Awakening, Laura, a resilient young single mother, fights to make ends meet as a housekeeper at the Friessen mansion. A twist of fate sees her fired and evicted, with her son placed in social services' custody. Enter Andy Friessen, a wealthy rancher who wrestles between his family's power and his own principles. When he realizes his actions led to Laura's misfortune, he can't ignore his conscience and steps in to help. Shockingly, he discovers Laura living in her car, her child taken by the state.
