Juz ‘Amma is the 30th and final part of the Noble Qur’an, widely known for its short chapters (surahs) and powerful messages. These surahs are generally brief, rhythmic, and rich in meaning, making them some of the first chapters memorized by children and new learners of the Qur’an. The term “’Amma” comes from the opening word of Surah An-Naba’, which starts with the phrase ‘Amma yatasā’alūn ("About what are they asking one another?"). Its powerful verses are used in prayer (salah), recitation (tilawah), and memorization (hifz) across the Muslim world.
