Organic Production of Some Agronomic Crops: Basmati Rice, Cotton, Red Gram and Sugarcane

Basmati rice is known as the King of Rice and is priced for its characteristic long-grain, subtle aroma and delicious taste. Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh are traditional basmati rice growing areas. Cotton plays a dominant role in the Indian agricultural and industrial economy.
