Extreme Measures

The servants who should have been doing all the clearing were contributing their bit but at a quarter of the speed. People who have reached the top in their chosen field gain an aura of confidence and self assurance and even power. The aura of power is unmistakable. Powerful people, even if from humble origins grow into their role and soon begin to exude this aura.
