After killing the ruling class for many generations, Bhagwaan Parshuram was stopped from fighting anymore by his grandfather Richik muni.

He decided to donate the entire earth to worthy rishis and retire to Mahendra Mountain for long penance.

When Drona heard that Bhagwaan Parshuram was donating all his possessions, he approached him.

Bhagwaan Parshuram told Drona, that he has given away all his worldly possessions already. Only thing left with him was the knowledge of divine weapons, which he taught to Drona.

With this knowledge Drona became a great warrior and he started a school to teach weaponry and warcraft to deserving students.
