This book describes some of the more unusual cases in forty years of practice as a general paediatrician. Children should never fall ill apart for childhood infections, but they do. the range of illnesses that they may suffer from is seemingly endless. These stories are fascinating: funny, sad, peculiar and even outrageous. Every clinical event is true but, to preserve confidentiality, the names, places, occupations and behaviours have all been invented.
