No Refuge for Women: The Tragic Fate of Syrian Refugees

Interest in the plight of refugees is at an all-time high as US borders are closing to those most in need of refuge.

The UN Refugee Agency reported that in 2015, only 18 percent women of refugees and migrants reaching Europe were women, compared to adult men at 54 percent.

Western media has underreported the fact that many Syrian women and children were left behind; and failed to report on their tragic fates
