Human child Rashad Archard was chosen to represent mankind by an omnipotent alien being called Universal King, he was given superhuman abilities and strength. Growing up in poverty Rashad uses his powers unconsciously while defending others. His mother dismisses his abilities as mere imagination. Regardless to witnessing Rashad rip the jaw off his future nemesis named Sledge during a home invasion. Not until Rashad becomes an adult that he accepts the truth after his championship boxing match that Rashad unleashed his hidden tremendous strength on his opponent breaking his neck. Now despite being a successful professional boxer and in love with a beautiful Lebanese woman named Hana, Rashad's priorities are called into question when he must fulfill his duties as Earth's Guardian. Adding to his troubles, Hana's family disapproves of their relationship and seeks to harm her. Rashad becomes so preoccupied with his love for Hana that he loses touch with his calling and engages in a war fighting a foreign military alongside rebels.
In Cosmic Trials: The Mars Wild Card, Rashad must fight against his own inner demons to prevent himself from becoming corrupted by power while also resisting the manipulation of an evil ancient Martian called Ersatz. Ersatz wants Rashad to lead his army as the last piece of his puzzle to take control of the universe.
