Wizards were repositories of knowledge and as such were often sought out for advice. They could most often be found wandering from town to town and typically made their homes in caves. Back in the before time, humans not only recognized the other creatures who inhabited the earth but also took the opportunities to communicate with them. It would not have been uncommon for a human then to spend time talking to a raven, a fox, or a deer while on a walk through the forest. Similarly, the races of the Bogheys and the Gwyllion were well known to humans and interacted with them routinely. But with the rise of civilization, humans decided that they should have dominion over the earth. As a result, wild animals learned to fear them, and the other races have been condemned to myth.
