Ideas build and destroy civilizations. Things are not going well. The need for action is now. After thousands of years of human development, our humanity seems to be intent upon disassembling itself with WOKE, Politically Correct thought police, rejected lessons from history and art, ‘book burning’, minorities DICTATING how we live and what we MUST think, riots, homelessness or helplessness and political polarizations with open conflicts and theft in our streets. How to revitalize harmonious existence, individual respect, laws equally for us all, and spirituality either via religion or constructive logic. So to create the conditions for cooperative, harmonious, self-disciplined inter-personal life: a return to greater stability of both mind and action working together for the good of communities and an increasingly interdependent World Social Family.

This building and rebuilding process will take generations, the current alternative will be humanity’s exit which would be both painful and permanent. This need not be. We each can learn so confidently form a renewal of our children’s real future but only by rebuilding our thought processes, awareness, and understanding with and through calm debate, discussion, and sharing of mind. 

Industry, agriculture, and the use of both people’s time and natural abilities matter greatly: smaller could well be far more beneficial. Creating public demand to raise output and income too often leads to waste and even harm while generating wealth for a minority, too many of whom are amoral or undeserving. 

What is reality other than what we decide it to be? All stems from family upbringing, mental inputs and experiences; educational practices, understood beliefs, the free flow of ideas; respecting other's thoughts, and community actions, which all coalesce into formed concepts and so beliefs. These and more build our minds, humour, fears and needs. These are the very Bricks that Build Us

Book 1 Bricks that Build Us: Family, Community, Beliefs, Philosophy, Laws, Conflict and Society

Since you recognize that things are going dangerously wrong both worldwide and on our streets, this is a series of four short books for you. They develop the calling for immediate action with many of the avoidable causes identified, listed and remedies stated clearly all in 'crystal clear' language. Now is the time to push back and protect our loved ones, our young, those who are vulnerable and all our futures. Later may well be too late. For many thinking people there is a well-founded and growing disquiet about where our world is going. Undeniably we observe that wasteful preoccupation with owning things which has replaced family values, sound reason, decency and necessary self-discipline for far too many. The me-first society focuses upon personal gratification while rejecting the more central need to think and work together to maintain our community and social family. Discarded is the we-first, polite and supportive normality of quieter times, led now by the shallow, self-interested more grotesque ideas, ideals and human actors. Through this storm of mediocracy and shallow existence can be heard the tramping of media moguls, the infected internet and dead actors of artificial "intelligence", cold scam 'phone callers that daily threaten our loved ones and us. We must most urgently identify our enemies with their manipulative control methods and develop effective counterarguments with successful countermeasures. Unified, self-disciplined, clarified actions, focused on restoring our interdependent caring communities, can and will successfully rebuild common sense and social sanity one brick at a time.

We live in a time of increasing conflict due to ignorance, misinformation and polarization. We must change this. How balanced order was and still can be achieved is described in this set of four books. 

Heads filled with too many imagined injustices ignore realities generally experienced by the dispossessed and powerless, caused by "The Fortunate". A rebalancing is long overdue. But how? This starts and finishes through the actions of caring and well-informed individuals locally first, in areas of personal opportunity and influence, ever growing step by step. It is time to take command of enabling powers constructively, observing, sheltering, feeding and educating: positive change supercharged and empowered through action.

A socio-psychological look at what has formed our society and suggestions of where it is going seriously wrong. Planned development, demonstrated self-discipline, calm discussion with clear beliefs and community traditions enable stability within a growing worldwide society. Stable family and educational experiences are the key to each child's happy and successful development. Neo-liberal lax and soft society is destroying stability as well as our future. Previous guides such as politeness, manners, quality, and uncorrupted religion are just as relevant when we venture beyond neglect and doctrinal corruption.

We live in a time of increasing conflict due to ignorance, lack of self-discipline and polarization. Just look at what happened in recent events at the White House! Other examples are the Covid Tanker blockade, destructive rioting in cities, hospitals coming under siege, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.... all were and are avoidable.

Staple Society results from succeeding constructive and protective concepts meeting obligations which generally follow traditions aimed at accepted common responsibilities.

Rob Howat discusses and explores these social building blocks in these four books with facts and examples. He shows that for society and the law to work responsibilities must be fulfilled before meaningful rights can follow. He suggests the ongoing need for calm discussion, research and reviews, an aim for balance, and well-understood and universally agreed 'ground rules' for educational pursuits.

The best time to open calm discussions with a goal to start building change is now, using constructive philosophy, logic, and religious proven wisdom. This set of books will greatly simplify and assist in building that deeper informed debate.
