IT WAS SUCH a surreal feeling to be back in the Ninth Circle again, especially with so little notice. It hadn’t been part of my plan that day, but when Sabrina appeared at my door and dropped those fateful words, I knew there wasn’t any other option.

“He doesn’t have much time left, Jake,” said Sabrina, my father’s gorgeous strawberry blonde assistant. “You should see him. Just in case.”

I didn’t need her to tell me what the “just in case” part meant. Anyone could read between those lines, and it was for that reason that I ran back into the room and told Amara what was going on. A look of regret appeared on her face for only a brief moment before it was replaced with one of concern.

I wasn’t going to hold that against her. The timing of all of this was just downright unfortunate. Minutes earlier, we’d just completed our bond, linking Amara to me like the other girls. Now that I could feel the link to her inside my body, there was only one thing left to do.

Visions of Amara under me—sweaty, naked, and with her large breasts heaving as I pumped my hips against hers—filled my mind.

Too bad it would have to wait for now.

Sabrina had no idea what she was interrupting, but I doubted that would have stopped her anyway. Even if I was mid-thrust, she would have insisted that we leave right away. She was just that devoted to my father.
