In business books, literature, or publications such as newspapers or magazines, we often read or learn about the failure of businesses. the failures can be related to the launching of a product, inability to communicate effectively in times of crisis, non-compliance with Laws of the Land, or any of the several causes that can lead a lasting impact on the way a business operated. Some organizations can overcome these failures, while others simply wither and fade away. You may wonder, what exactly is a business failure, and what are some of the most common ways in which a business can fail?

We decided to find an answer to this question through our new series titled "Why Businesses Fail". In each episode of this ten-part series, we will explore one major cause or a factor that can cause a business failure. It can be related to internal matters- people, products, processes, or external factors such as geography, regulation, or upcoming challenges of Cyber Security and Climate Change.

In each episode, we will look into these factors, and bring forth examples, anecdotes, and some memorable failures that can prove to be valuable lessons to the listeners. We also bring insights from Professionals who have first-hand experience in handling difficult situations and learn from their journeys. In each episode, we will focus on examples and experiences from India.
