Disciples of Bhagwaan Parshuram – Karna

Karna was jealous of prince Arjuna’s skills and wanted to prove that he was better than him, so he sought the knowledge of Brahmastra from Dronacharya.

When Dronacharya enquired about his motive, he honestly told him about his desire to defeat Arjuna. Upon hearing this Dronacharya refused to teach him Brahmastra.

Thus, after being rejected by Guru Drona, he approached Bhagwaan Parshuram and told him that he is a Brahmin from the Bhargava clan and expressed his desire to learn from him.

Bhagwaan Parshuram taught him everything, however when he learned that Karna lied to him, he cursed Karna to forget his entire knowledge when he needed it the most. This curse led to the fall of Karna in the Kurukshetra battle.
